addon_bno055

BNO055 add-on board for the large camper add-on slot. The board accommodates a BNO055 sensor module and connects it to the camper node as an I2C orientation sensor.

Function

  • Adapter for a BNO055 module with separate pin headers for the module pins.
  • Sensor powered via P5V and GND from the add-on slot.
  • I2C connection via SDA and SCL.
  • Optional connection of the INT and RESET lines through solder jumpers.

Interfaces

The large add-on slot routes P5V, GND, SDA, SCL, INT, and RESET to the board. SDA and SCL are connected directly to the sensor header. INT and RESET can be enabled through solder jumpers JP3 and JP4, allowing the module to be used without these additional lines depending on the setup.

Sensor Connection

JP2 provides P5V, GND, SDA, and SCL as well as additional module pins. JP1 exposes further BNO055 signals. The board silkscreen marks the optional INT and RESET connections so that it is clear during assembly which functions are enabled via solder jumpers.
